A hangar is a closed structure that protects airplanes and spacecraft.  It is spelled differently from hangers which is what you use to hang your clothes on.


Idiom of the Week: Driving Me Up The Wall

Driving me up the wall

This is said when someone is really bothering or annoying you.  You may feel like climbing the walls to escape them.  A person may also say, “you’re driving me crazy,” which means something very similar.


Idiom of the Week: School of Fish

School of fish

  A group of fish are called a “school”.  Fish swim together in schools as protection from predators and to more easily find food.  (They are also smarter when they are in school!)

All of the gear that is used for fishing is called the tackle.  Items such as hooks, lures, weights and line are often kept in a container called a “Tackle Box”.
